Shawn played midget aaa for the Lac St.Louis Lions at the age of 15 years old and was selected in the first round of qmjhl draft by the Quebec Remparts. Shawn joined the team for his rookie season at the age 16. At the age of 17 Shawn lead the Quebec Remparts in scoring and was selected 139th overall in the NHL draft by the New York Rangers. Shawn went on to become the Remparts team captain and a 2-time qmjhl all-star.
After a 10-year professional hockey career playing at the AHL, ECHL and European pro levels, Shawn now specializes in player development and is dedicated to helping others to achieve their goals.
Shawn is currently perusing a degree in psychology at the University of Queens.
